Every competitor uses the same roasted coffee. No secret blends. No sponsor advantages. ISO 5495 paired comparison judging. The cup decides.

The Winner's Recipe Becomes Real

The champion's recipe isn't just a trophy. It's co-branded with the sponsor and sold as a real product. The champion gets 10%. The sponsor gets 80%. WEC gets 10%. Everyone wins.

Why We Exist

The Coffee Industry
Needs Better Tools

We're not here to complain about the system. We're here to build something better.

For 26 years, I've been inside this industry. As a barista, a roaster, a trainer, a judge, and a business owner. I've seen what works. And I've seen what doesn't.

The problem isn't that people don't care about quality. It's that the systems for finding and rewarding quality are broken. Opacity wins. Gatekeeping wins. The people with the best marketing budget win.

We're fixing that with three things: competitions that actually test skill, community that shares knowledge freely, and data that doesn't lie.
